1. Introduction

Welcome to Dining with Gold ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and social media pages and the purchase of our products. By browsing our site, placing an order, or otherwise interacting with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully. We reserve the right to update or change these terms at any time without prior notice, and the version published on our website at the time of your order is the version that applies.

2. Eligibility & Use of Our Website

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) and legally able to enter into a binding contract. You agree to use our website lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.

3. Products

All products are subject to availability. We aim to ensure that product descriptions, ingredients, images, and pricing are accurate; however, slight variations may occur because our chilli oils are made by hand in small batches. Colour, texture, and heat can vary naturally between batches. Product images are for illustration and may differ slightly from the item you receive.

4. Food Safety & Allergies

Our chilli oils may contain or come into contact with allergens including chilli, garlic, sesame, nuts, soy, gluten, and dairy. Our products are prepared in a kitchen that handles these ingredients. Customers are responsible for checking the ingredient and allergen information provided before purchase and consumption. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering. We are not liable for allergic reactions where accurate ingredient information has been provided.

5. Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming we have received it. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order. A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, where a product is unavailable, where there is an error in the price or description, or where we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will issue a full refund.

6. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in pounds sterling (£) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment must be made in full before orders are dispatched. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, processed securely by our payment provider. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted. In the event of an obvious pricing error, we are not obliged to fulfil an order at the incorrect price.

7. Shipping & Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 24–48 hours. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays or circumstances beyond our control. Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information, and we are not liable for parcels lost due to incorrect addresses supplied by the customer. 8. Returns & Refunds

Due to food hygiene and safety regulations, we do not accept returns on opened food products. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. Refunds or replacements are issued at our discretion. 9. Storage & Usage

Customers should store chilli oil in a cool, dry place, refrigerate after opening if instructed, and consume within the recommended period stated on the packaging. Always follow the storage and "best before" guidance on the label. We are not responsible for any deterioration, spoilage, or harm resulting from improper storage or misuse of products after delivery.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dining with Gold shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • Delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control
  • Allergic reactions where allergen information has been disclosed
  • Improper storage, handling, or misuse of products after delivery

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

11. Intellectual Property

All images, branding, logos, recipes, text, and other content on our website and channels remain the property of Dining with Gold and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

12. Privacy

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
